Request reason:
Notes:
- In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
- Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:
{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I was adding information about devi rukmini in the page. When I was trying to read, I found out the information was utterly small and I wanted future readers to know more. I apologize if it came across as vandalism. |3 = ~~~~}}
If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.
{{unblock reviewed |1=I was adding information about devi rukmini in the page. When I was trying to read, I found out the information was utterly small and I wanted future readers to know more. I apologize if it came across as vandalism. |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}
If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:
{{unblock reviewed |1=I was adding information about devi rukmini in the page. When I was trying to read, I found out the information was utterly small and I wanted future readers to know more. I apologize if it came across as vandalism. |accept = accept reason here ~~~~}}

- While I'm actually in agreement that your edits weren't vandalism, they were disruptive and edit warring. Can you explain how you will avoid edit warring in the future? signed, Rosguill talk 04:41, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- Then,as for edit warring you're misunderstood. I do realize I made a lot of edits. But I made it after carefully reading through materials. I read through vishnu puran's English and Nepali translation and also, learned it from scholars in that field. I'll avoid edit warring by editing only the important section and not trying to change a lot at once. Apologies. ~2026-18225-24 (talk) 04:46, 24 March 2026 (UTC)

None of that contradicts having been in an edit war. signed, Rosguill talk 14:33, 24 March 2026 (UTC)- What can I do, then? I'm quite not familiar with this. Srikota (talk) 14:34, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- You need to more clearly address that you understand what edit warring is and how to avoid it. It's also a bit unclear as to why you claim to have been well-read in the topic, but did not include any citations to relevant reliable sources to justify your edits; you may want to review WP:V as well. signed, Rosguill talk 14:48, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- i understand well now. I'll avoid edit warring in future by refraining to make more than 3 edits on a certain topic and also, cite all references along with external links that are already in the Wikipedia or outside of Wikipedia. I'll not make edits for sometime until I find ways to attach sources of information on the said edits. Srikota (talk) 14:52, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- Nope, that's not it. I would suggest reading the WP:3RR section more carefully. signed, Rosguill talk 14:54, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- I think I'll just refrain from making edits. Is it okay if I log out from Wikipedia and not make future edits? Would it effect my Gmail? Srikota (talk) 14:57, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- There's no requirement to use an account to make edits. Even if it's years down the road, if you decide you want to make edits and you have properly reviewed WP:EDITWARRING, there's no time limit for requesting an unblock. I'm not sure what you mean by affecting your Gmail account; Wikipedia is not Google, and can do nothing related to it but send you email, should you request it.
