Your submission at Articles for creation: Kris Baha (June 11)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by SafariScribe was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Kris Baha (June 16)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by WeWake was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Please note that notability of an individual for an article on Wikipedia requires that there's "significant", "independent", coverage in "reliable sources." For this purpose, lists, interviews (with limited exceptions), event listings, album links etc do not count. There are only two or so sources (Ref 14, Ref 2) in the current article that say something significant about Krish Baha and why he's relevant. I suggest finding similar and more sources and removing references that are not necessary. I believe notability is close but not quite there yet.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Hi there, thanks for reviewing this article and I appreciate the feedback given! as per the history of this article, I was advised by contributor BuySomeApples to cut it down from 80+ sources to Wikipedia:Three sources which you can find in the talk page of the draft article. Also there has been a dialog with the user BuySomeApples who seems to think that it actually does qualify for reliable sources and notability based of our dialog which you can see in the article history.
The subject has coverage from sources that all have their own wikipedia page entries as reliable journalistic sources in club/ dance music & music culture being Telekom Electronic Beats, Resident Advisor, Groove Magazine, XLR8R. There is a review independent from the subject on Resident Advisor [Ref8] - Resident Advisor is a notable and reliable dance music journalistic publication. There is also a forward to the interview on Telekom Electronic Beats [Ref1] - Telekom is Germany’s national telecommunications provider. Same goes for Groove Magazine [Ref4] which has a forward and is Germanys dance and club music magazine & publication.
I also want to draw focus to the subject having worked in an official capacity with notable names in dance music like Boys Noize who has been grammy nominated with Skrillex aswell as winning a grammy for cowriting a song with Lady Gaga. The subject is also in a project with members from another music project who have won multiple national music awards aswell as performing on Arte which is European public tv broadcast. The subject has released on a major label aswell as significant independent labels and has featured in a documentary about the music genre which he helped revive. I am a little bit confused here of how much more needs to be added given the notability requirements seeming to have being met in the 'others' section of the Wikipedia:Notability (music) given the contribution to the EBM revival. Are you able to check all these references perhaps? Thanks for your time. Superpingers (talk) 22:33, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
I think the three best sources is a great start, and I do agree with your previous interaction, as well as something I noted in my comment that there's a good chance of notability, but the list of sources make it hard to assess and verify. One thing I should note that a topic might have Wikipedia article for many reasons (good or bad), as such, just because it exists is not necessarily used as an evidence of notability. Ref [3] for example, is a link to local events on Miami Times page, which on my end, shows up with no information or connection to Krish Baha. Likewise, links to sites that list his albums and discography are essential for verifying the information, but do not count towards notability directly — but the reviews of his albums and works do. That is to say that I'd not interpret my comment as "needing more" per-se, but needing better/cleaner. For example, source from Telekom Electronic Beats may not be considered reliable by the community. I'd start by asking each reference on "how it's helping establish notability or verifiability?" and if it's from a reliable source. You can consult WP:SIRS (there's a table that shows how to use it) or use this interactive option (here) to assess each source. I will keep an eye on the article and fix any issues I might see as well. Good luck! WeWake (talk) 01:17, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
