Hey Dieter Lloyd Wexler! I just counted all the GPs using excel. If you add up the numbers by both race title and host nation you get 1014. The same number comes up if you add up all the GPs listed in races by season. I realise now in hindsight that maybe the article doesn't only consider 500cc/MotoGP races, but other classes as well. Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Linda Cube, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content.
