Your edit summary stated I am unsure as to whether this was meant to be <formally> or <formerly>. The answer can be found in the HTML comment immediately following the sentence that you changed: NOTE: Jack still uses "Judith Halberstam" professionally and is more well-known by that name; additionally, as noted in the first section below, he seemingly does not mind being called Judith.
