Welcome!
Hello, Thomankay, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article (or draft of an article) about yourself. Writing about yourself is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians.
As this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them. A page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to or change it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! - {{help me}}
- Thank you for the message! Thomas Kesselhut is not me (though I realize the name suggests that).
- I read the criteria on what makes something 'notable', and I believe he falls under it. I realize that I might have been too vague in the actual article with regards to the fulfillment of this.
- In short, I believe he specifically falls within the 'creative' and 'entertainer' parts of the definition, as he is widely credited for the creation of the 'roleplay format' in Grand Strategy games. He is well-known in this community, being an early pioneer in its space and its largest creator.
- Thank you very much for the heads up! I am new, and I was not familiar with this criteria. Please let me know what I should change to make the article eligible (if it is declared ineligible). Once again, thank you for the message : ) Thomankay (talk) 18:21, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation: Thomas Kesselhut (March 6)

- Promotional tone, editorializing and other words to watch
- Vague, generic, and speculative statements extrapolated from similar subjects
- Essay-like writing
- Hallucinations (plausible-sounding, but false information) and non-existent references
- Close paraphrasing
- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Thomas Kesselhut and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.

Hello and welcome!
Hello Thomankay! Welcome to Wikipedia. I see someone else has already welcomed you, but I thought I'd say hi as I have automatically been assigned as your mentor. If you have any questions about editing on Wikipedia, please ask me on my talk page. Alternatively, you can ask at the teahouse, for anyone to answer you.
I see you have already submitted an article for creation, and had it declined. Personally, I would recommend trying out some easier edits before trying to create a new article, in order to get a feel for the ropes; you can find a list of beginner edits on your homepage. You don't have to listen to me though, you can try to continue with your article if you wish. If you did write the article using an LLM, you will need to rewrite it by hand, and cite reliable sources for any content included. Reliable sources are also needed to demonstrate that an article is notable, and deserves a Wikipedia page.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do and have fun! I'm here for questions if you need. {{GearsDatapack|talk|contribs}} 20:46, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for the message!
- I read the criteria on what makes something 'notable', and I believe he falls under it. I realize that I might have been too vague in the actual article with regards to the fulfillment of this. I will specify it.
- I wrote an original, rather lackluster article, and I used an LLM to rewrite it as a placeholder until I had time to properly finish writing it myself. I just wanted to get the article up as fast as possible, as I have heard it can take quite some time, ahah. I realize that it is a bad practice.
- I now understand that I will have to properly finish it first before submitting it. I will do my best and cite reliable sources. Hopefully I can get it up an running soon :)
- Again, thank you for the message!
