interested

in a real life conversation why the wasg article needs help - or even an on wiki discussion for that matter ?

JarrahTree 15:26, 27 November 2024 (UTC)

Hello,
The WASG article needs help to qualify for a wikipedia article because it lacks published sources.
I plan to improve the article soon.
Thanks Tigerten23 (talk) 01:40, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
Done - some added, you might have better items, it would be really good to have cite-able cave survey reports that clearly ID WASG - most on trove have ASF attribution... JarrahTree 08:06, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
Thank you very much for your contribution - I plan to add more later today Tigerten23 (talk) 08:49, 28 November 2024 (UTC)

ːː:: - what is important about these sort of organisations on wikipedia, is the possible array of refs/cites - specially that are not from the organisation itself - but being referred to in WP:RS that are quite outside of the caving community even... JarrahTree 09:54, 28 November 2024 (UTC)

CS1 error on Western Australian Speleological Group

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Western Australian Speleological Group, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 05:45, 27 September 2025 (UTC)

Recent edit reversion

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 15:23, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
