Hello, I'm Cassiopeia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Tower Semiconductor, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Cassiopeia talk 09:02, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects.
Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change to this account.- To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
- If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page):
{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
Important items to note:
- The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
- You are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually. Examples include: "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
- The new username you choose cannot already be taken and used by another account. You can search here to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns, "There is no global account for [username]", that means it is available.
Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, department, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
- Hello Dianna,

Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Tjcorpcom! Your additions to Tower Semiconductor have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Diannaa (talk) 12:29, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Dianna,
- I am Orit Shahar, Director of PR and MarCom at Tower Semiconductor. I manage our entry on Wiki and have made all the recent edits.
- All edits made were cited per the regulations you mentioned above (public information), as posted on our website - both the agreement with ST Microelectronics https://towersemi.com/2021/06/24/06242021/ and the one with Intel on the capacity corridor https://towersemi.com/2023/09/05/09052023/. These should be added to our History section with the text provided.
- Can you please check and clarify how we should proceed?
- Appreciate your assistance,
- Orit Shahar Tjcorpcom (talk) 13:56, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
- "Public information" is not the same thing as "public domain". The page is marked as © 2025 Tower Semiconductor, so you can't post it here unless it's released under a compatible license. If you are the copyright holder, please see WP:Donating copyrighted materials for an explanation of how this would be done. There's a sample permission email at WP:Consent.--Diannaa (talk) 14:20, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks Dianna, Not sure I follow though. What we publish on our website is all public information (we simply use the term 'public domain' internally for all public information so sorry for the confusion caused :)). Also - we change the copyright year with every year passing but the citations quoted were published the year of the announcement itself. Please advise how to proceed. - The source webpage is marked as copyright. We need to have documentation that shows the copyright holders have given permission for the material to be copied to this website, and are prepared to release the material under a compatible license. Wikipedia has procedures in place for this purpose. We can't take your word for it that you have permission. Please see WP:Donating copyrighted materials for an explanation of what to do. There's a sample permission email at WP:Consent. Diannaa (talk) 12:04, 20 February 2025 (UTC)

Unblock user request

Tjcorpcom (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log) • SI)
Request reason:
Your reason here Tjcorpcom (talk) 08:32, 22 March 2026 (UTC) The account represents a company and was created with the intention of maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and factual information on the Tower Semiconductor page. Our goal is to ensure that publicly available information is correct, current, and reliable for readers. All updates made through the account are properly cited, and the account has been active for over a decade. We respectfully ask that you reconsider the block and advise how we can proceed in full compliance with Wikipedia’s guidelines.
Decline reason:
Accounts that represent companies are not permitted on the English Wikipedia. Accounts are for individuals. An account can be a company employee's account, exclusively used by that employee. A username can be something like "JohnDoe of TJ Corp". Please designate a single person to exclusively operate this account, and propose a new username. 331dot (talk) 20:29, 23 March 2026 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Tjcorpcom (talk) 08:32, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
(Non-administrator comment) As already noted in the block notice, your account name violates Wikipedia's username policy. Wikipedia accounts are for individual access; they cannot represent companies. You will need to alter your unblock request to use the {{unblock-un}} and propose a username that represents you as an individual. You must also guarantee that you will never share access with anyone else, as doing so is also prohibited.
In addition, Wikipedia is not a business directory, so a company is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article merely for the fact that it exists. All topics must be notable by Wikipedia's definition to merit inclusion. In the specific case of a company, it must meet the notability criteria for companies and organizations. For this to happen, the company must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:20, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
