Edits
Good afternoon,
The subject of the page is a close family member of mine. What he experienced was beyond painful. His loved ones would absolutely agree with me when I say that we would appreciate if the page could be taken down altogether. If that is not enough to convince you, Mr. Juliano has a young daughter who has only known him to be a kind and wonderful father. If she were to Google him (since kids today usually have access to electronics) and find this page, imagine how her heart could shatter. I again reiterate that the subject has gone through enough. His life deserves to be private and remain off of the Internet.
Respectfully,

- @Anonymously.yours34:
- Even if your message is to be truthful, Wikipedia is not a place to remove content simply because of what bad things they have done.
- I personally believe I correctly flagged your edits as invalid removal of content and I will keep that stance.

Liar's Dice
I'm pretty sure BGG falls under WP:SPS and, as such, unfortunately isn't sufficiently reliable for use as a reference. DonIago (talk) 06:05, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for the message, I've been going around for a while trying to find good sources for including Pirate's Dice on the page, since it seems to be a popular variation of the game that is most people's first/only knowledge of its existence.
- I was able to separately confirm that Friendly Games, Inc. published the game using Amazon - this listing of the game is listed under "Visit the USAOPOLY" store, which the two companies merged in the past (BGG claims this, and I also confirmed that the listed address for Friendly Games, Inc. appeared to have the USAopoly logo on the building from approximately 2016 to 2018 according to Google Street View.)
- However, that's not very easy to cite, so my search continues. Trg5503 (talk) 06:10, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- How about this listing on the Walmart website? It also lists Friendly Games as the publisher, and one of the images shows the Friendly Games logo on the back of the box. For the 2006 release year, this page of the Houston Daily Journal seems to be sufficient, although it doesn't explicitly state the release year so it would have to be implied from the date the newspaper was published plus the fact that it wouldn't make sense for the game to be released to tie in with a movie that didn't exist before 2006. Trg5503 (talk) 06:26, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- I'm not a big fan of using retail stores as sources. It's not Amazon, which has been established to frequently get release dates wrong for home media, but I'm not sure Walmart is much better. You could ask at WP:BOARDGAME to see what they say. I'm rather happier with that page from the HDJ, and I don't know that anyone would raise a fuss about the potential ambiguity that you've pointed out. Thanks for respecting my concerns!
