I'm updating stale (deprecated) tags. No, there's no policy that discourages 400-word summaries; it's just my opinion. May I please remove the unnecessary 19-years needs citation tag? Bearian (talk) 14:51, 20 February 2026 (UTC)

Saint Martin edit
Hello,
I'm responding to the message you left on my talk page about my edit on the Saint Martin page. Given that my edit links to another wiki page which contains relevant sources, is it still necessary to repeat some of the sources in the article itself?
--Hussier1 (talk) 11:36, 22 February 2026 (UTC)
- Yes. Per WP:CIRCULAR, links to other articles do not constitute reliable sources. Thanks for asking! DonIago (talk) 15:25, 22 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi
I have undone your reversion. I cannot understand why you would revert every single edit I made. There were factual errors, and obvious mistakes that I corrected. Please do no revert again, as you will only be restoring bad information and an incorrect summary of the plot. Can we at least discuss why you feel each one was wrong in a paragraph by paragraph fashion on the talk page? Chaosdruid (talk) 03:33, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
- I've started a discussion at the article's Talk page. Per WP:BRD, please do not reinsert your edits unless other editors agree that they are an improvement. If nothing else, you overly rely on the word "they" in situations where it is unclear who 'they' are supposed to be. If you want to reinsert your edits, either get a consensus for them, or clean up your use of "they" and we can take it from there. As noted, I tried to clean up your version and I couldn't because I couldn't even figure out who you were referring to. DonIago (talk) 03:56, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
