Both sources are self-published and do not meet the requirements for significant coverage. Key claims also fail verification (the source doesn't say anything about the locomotives being scrapped).

CS1 error on New York Transit Museum

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page New York Transit Museum, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A missing title error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited New York Transit Museum, a link pointing to the disambiguation page The French Connection was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Several trains preserved by the museum have been featured in the movie "The French Connection" and I have not realized that this leads to a disambiguation page, my bad! TriStateGuy (talk) 20:10, 11 February 2026 (UTC)

"Signage History" sections

Hi, thanks for making the signage history galleries for the NYC Subway service pages - they're much appreciated. Per MOS:HEAD, though, these should be titled "Signage history", since we use sentence case in article section headings, except for proper names which retain their capitalization. I'll fix them now, but just a heads up for the future. Epicgenius (talk) 00:29, 2 March 2026 (UTC)

Thanks, I didn't realize that I had mass-copied "Signage history" as "Signage History". I have added more galleries today and fixed the capitalization errors. We're all humans at the end of the day and we make mistakes.
Once again, thanks for the notice :) TriStateGuy (talk) 00:33, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
