in-depth (not just brief mentions about the subject or routine announcements)
Make sure you add references that meet all four of these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

The comment the reviewer left was:
You’ve made a good start on this article, however as yet it lacks sufficient sources which prove notability. It requires 2-3 sources which are reliable, independent, secondary sources, which talk at length about the topic of the article. Unfortunately the sources you have so far aren’t quite there. the google sources are primary sources, not secondary, and the articles by the center itself are not independent. Your best bet for finding sources would be to look for news or academic articles talking about the center and its mission at length in reliable independent outlets. Good luck and keep up the hard work 👍

While there are definitely sources here from the Center itself (or it's parent) there are definitely more than 2-3 independent sources?
Sources by type:
Completely independent
Reference 3: This is an interview conducted by the Bangor Maine Public Library on the founding of the center. It’s part of a series called “Maine Space Stories”
References 7: Is an article from NASA itself on the center’s impact in rural STEM
Reference: 8 & 11 are Maine news outlets reporting on the Challenger Center
Reference: 10 Challenger executive’s interview with media outlet
An argument can be made for a loose affiliation
Reference 5: Is about the construction/renovation of the center from the construction company
Reference 13: article about the award given from the local Maine group Fusion
Reference 14: Article from Totman foundation on the scholarship
Ref 4 is just the location of the center
Refs that use the Center’s own words
1,9,12
Ref 2 & 15: These are from the overall Challenger Center… not the Maine specific branch. Volfan999 (talk) 13:50, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
Any additional guidance would be greatly appreciated! Volfan999 (talk) 17:35, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
