- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Christoph Clauser (October 27)

This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
The comment the reviewer left was:
He may well pass notability under #C1, although I am not certain. More critical gor the moment far too much of this is unsourced, the only references being his. Truly independent sources are needed.

- @Ldm1954 Thank you for your review. Please explain which sources you rate as unreliable - I cannot understand this ZAYBXC (talk) 19:39, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- I said you need more reliable sources. Currently all you have are a few of his papers. You need independent sources, and everything must be verified by a source. At the moment at least 1/2 (maybe 3/4 or more) has no source to verify the statements. Much of it also should be removed, it should not be a CV or an essay.
- See this guide for some general suggestions. Ldm1954 (talk) 20:18, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry for coming back with questions, but I don't understand what exactly you are missing independent sources for. Because the references for the cited publications are all given. Please explain - thank you! ZAYBXC (talk) 14:08, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- The only inline sources you have are to his papers, which are OK but not critical. There is nothing to verify anything else, for instance his career, family, awards etc. Everything must be independently verified with sources. While you can use an official CV for some, you need other sources. It may take work to find them. Ldm1954 (talk) 14:14, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
