Hello, I'm Jlwoodwa. An article that you recently made, Daylen Kountz, seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or another application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. In particular, you should check each citation, and fictitious references must be removed. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. jlwoodwa (talk) 21:18, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, thank you for the message and for patrolling new pages.
- I can confirm that no AI-generated content was used.
- I am the creator of the french first version, on wikipedia.fr
- https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylen_Kountz
- The french article & this one was written using verifiable sources, all of which are linked in the references:
- • L’Équipe (multiple match reports)
- • The Denver Post
- • CBS Colorado
- • Mile High Sports
- • BeBasket (France)
- • Nemzeti Sport (Hungary)
- • Official Colorado / Northern Colorado athletics pages
- Every citation corresponds to an existing, independently published source and all statements are directly supported by these references.
- I used chatgpt for increase tuhe quality of wikicode. I hope i did not
- If you notice any specific passage that seems problematic or too close in style to an AI model, please let me know and I will gladly revise it. I am also happy to provide additional reliable sources if needed.
- Thank you again for ensuring the quality of this article ! Zeptentrion (talk) 22:16, 24 November 2025 (UTC)

Hi Zeptentrion! I noticed that you recently made an edit and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. JTtheOG (talk) 19:35, 24 December 2025 (UTC)
LLM use

Blocked from mainspace
An issue has been raised about your AI use over at Wikipedia:WikiProject AI Cleanup/Noticeboard. Until you resolve this issue the follow restrictions have been placed on your account.
- You are prohibited from editing articles that are in mainspace.
- You may request edits on mainspace articles in talk pages.
- You may write articles in draft space and go though the AfC process to make sure the articles they create are free of LLM use.
- You may not move articles from draftspace to mainspace.
- You are still subject to the restrictions found in WP:NOLLM.
- You are reminded that you are not to use LLMs to create or rewrite articles or content for articles.

- Hello @Dr vulpes
- Thank you for your message and for the clarification.
- I understand the restriction and will of course comply with it.
- My intention has always been to contribute using reliable, cited sources, and I take the concerns raised seriously. I would like to move forward constructively and would appreciate clarification on which specific aspects of my edits led to this assessment;
- so that I can better align with expectations.
- In the meantime, I will propose any further edits via talk pages or drafts.
- Best regards, Zeptentrion (talk) 21:23, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
- Note: @Dr vulpes: I don't think we should give LLM-abusing editors pointers on how to humanize their LLM output. JTtheOG (talk) 21:41, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
- @JTtheOG I am included to agree with you, I just don't know how to better approach issues like this. Others have had some pretty strong push back on just a blanket ban. Dr vulpes (Talk) 21:05, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
- @Dr vulpes: I completely understand. Unfortunately, we're left to deal with all the repercussions of people flooding our site with rubbish. JTtheOG (talk) 21:11, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hello @Dr vulpes
- Thanks for your reply.
- I understand well the concerns and will follow the restriction.
- To move forward, I need clearer guidance.
- Which parts of my edits are a problem?
- Is it wording, structure, or specific passages?
- My goal is simple:
- reliable sources, verifiable content, neutral tone.
- I’m ready to propose revised versions on talk pages or drafts.
- Best regards, Zeptentrion (talk) 22:01, 30 April 2026 (UTC)

- I Agree obviously to propose edits via talk pages or drafts.
- To do that properly, I would need to know which parts of my edits raised concerns.
- Several pages I created have been affected, and I’d like to understand the issue so I can address it consistently.
- Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

- It's the use of LLMs that's the problem. It doesn't matter how its sourced, if its generated using LLMs, its not for wikipedia. You seem to continually dance around that aspect. Masterhatch (talk) 21:15, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
- @Masterhatch: A common theme in these cases as I've come to understand... See Draft talk:Amaël L'Étang. JTtheOG (talk) 22:43, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
- And you still dance around it. You are asking for specific examples and everyone is telling you its your use of LLMs. See, it doesn't matter if an editor is really good at using LLMs to create/add to articles, he still cannot do it. Its either we ban it totally, or let it all in. We gotta keep AI slop out of wikipedia so banning it totally is where we ended up. Masterhatch (talk) 22:53, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
- Btw, it also looks like you use AI to respond on talk pages. If that's also the case, not cool. Masterhatch (talk) 22:54, 30 April 2026 (UTC)

- Hello @Dr vulpes
- As discussed, I drafted a shorter version here:
- Draft talk:Amaël L'Étang https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft_talk:Ama%C3%ABl_L%27%C3%89tang#External_links
- available to adjust it so we can move toward a version that works. Zeptentrion (talk) 11:03, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
- hello @Dr vulpes
- I’ve reworked one of the contested pages and proposed a version on the talk page.
- I’ll pause creating new articles and stick to drafts / talk pages for now.
- Let me know if this is the right direction. Zeptentrion (talk) 20:15, 2 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hello @Dr vulpes,
- Just following up regarding the restriction.
- As mentioned, I’ve continued working through drafts and talk pages. I proposed a revised version here:
- Do you think this is moving in the right direction? Are there still specific issues I should work on? If preferred, I’d also welcome input from another editor. Zeptentrion (talk) 13:39, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hello @Dr vulpes,
- Following up on the restriction, I have proposed a sourced update on the article Narcisse Ngoy talk page rather than editing the article directly:
- The proposal is based on the current article ; i try to clarify sourced points only, especially the distinction between birthplace and where he grew up, as well as the 2025–26 Élite 2 season and 2026 draft information.
- I would appreciate your feedback on whether this is the right way to proceed under the restriction, and whether there are still specific issues I should address before any editor considers using parts of the draft. ~~~~ Zeptentrion (talk) 18:27, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
