Valanjerd (Persian: والانجرد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Valanjerd Rural District of the Central District of Borujerd County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4]

Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,457 in 346 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,581 people in 463 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as of 1,526 people in 469 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
