Villerupt (pronounced [vilʁy]; Luxembourgish: Weller [ˈvælɐ] ⓘ) is a commune in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region in Northeastern France.[3] It is located on the departmental border with Moselle, not far from the France–Luxembourg border.
