Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Sexology and sexuality

The articles Latex clothing and Rubber and PVC fetishism contain vast amounts of true, but unsourced material, or where sources exist, they are self-published. I've removed just a bit of it and started replacing it by sourced material, but it's a Herculean task. Any help would be greatly appreciated. — The Anome (talk) 21:29, 1 April 2026 (UTC)

Just seeing these comments now. Over the past couple of months I've put considerable effort into tightening up Rubber and PVC fetishism, including removing unreferenced material and adding new material with more robust sources, as well as some reorganization of sections and shuttling content to more appropriate articles like latex clothing and PVC clothing. I've struggled to find additional references for the film Rubbers (2010) as most sources are in Japanese, but here is an English review I was pointed to in case it helps anyone interested to find more reliable references in future. Hey I was wondering if an editor from this project could help by including the "Impact" section of this article into the lead. Since the impact section covers things ranging from mainstream pornography to actual incidents of threatened or real violence, I can't think of a good way to sum it up without coming across as lumping in not so harmful behavior with very harmful behavior.

Figured someone from this project would be good to ask since I previously had to fix a tone issue in the article and I don't want to come off as being anti-porn or anything since the lead might be all that someone reads.
