William Austin Tucker (1850 – 1931) was an American banker and founder of Tucker, Anthony & Co..
Tucker was born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 3, 1850. He was the son of Rebecca (née Chamberlin) Tucker and James Tucker, senior member of the firm of James Tucker & Co., manufacturers. His brother, James Alfred Tucker, married Martha Hamlin Elms.[1]
He was a descendant of Robert Tucker, who came to America from England in 1635.[2]
