Yalçın Taşmektepligil Sport Hall (Turkish: Mehmet Yalçın Taşmektepligil Kapalı Spor Salonu) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Samsun, Turkey. Located on the campus of Ondokuz Mayıs University, near the Yaşar Doğu Faculty of Sports Sciences, the hall was built in 1985.[1] The venue is also referred to by Ondokuz Mayıs University as the Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yalçın Taşmektepligil Sport Hall.[2]
According to the official venue profile published for the 2022 FISU University World Cup Combat Sports, the hall stands opposite the Yaşar Doğu Faculty of Sports Sciences and was built in 1985.[1] During the 2022 FISU University World Cup Combat Sports, it served as the venue for the boxing competition.[1][3]
The hall also hosts academic, sporting and cultural events organised by Ondokuz Mayıs University. In 2022 it was used for the opening ceremony of the university's 36th Traditional Intra-University Sports Festival.[4] In 2025 and 2026, the hall was also used for award ceremonies and events linked to TÜBİTAK regional science competitions for high school students.[5][6]
