Zhou Jiabin (Chinese: 周家斌; pinyin: Zhōu Jiābīn; born September 1964) is a former Chinese politician who spent most of his career in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. As of December 2024[update], he was under investigation by China's top anti-graft watchdog. Previously he served as party secretary of Guilin and vice chairperson of the People's Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.[1]
Zhou was a delegate to the 12th National People's Congress and a representative of the 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party.[2]
Zhou was born in Juancheng County, Shandong, in September 1964.[3] In 1983, he entered Tsinghua University, where he majored in architecture.[3] He joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in May 1986.[3] He earned his Ph.D.degree in engineering from the China University of Geosciences[citation needed] in January 2008.[3]
