Choi Byung-mo (en hangul, 최병모; RR: Choe Byeong-mo), es un actor de televisión y teatro surcoreano.[1]
El 19 de junio de 2017 se casó con la cantante de pop operístico Kiriel Lee Gyu-in (Lee Gyu-in, 이규인) en Gangnam, Seúl.
Carrera
Es miembro de la agencia Big Punch (빅펀치이엔티).[2] Fue miembro de la agencia C9 Entertainment (C9 엔터테인먼트).
En junio de 2016 se unió al elenco recurrente de la serie The Good Wife donde interpretó al juez Lee Jong-in encargado de los casos de Llee Tae-joon (Yoo Ji-tae) y Kim In-young (Gong Sang-ah). En agosto del mismo año se unió al elenco recurrente de la serie Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, donde dio vida a Park Young-kyu, un ministro de relaciones exteriores y el tío de la kisaeng Woo-hee (Seohyun).
En junio de 2017 se unió al elenco recurrente de la primera temporada de la serie Forest of Secrets (también conocida como "Stranger"), donde dio vida a Kim Woo-gyun, el jefe de la estación de policía de Yongsan que al final es condenado a tres años y seis meses de prisión por tener relaciones con un menor e intento de secuestro.
En octubre del mismo año se unió al elenco recurrente de la serie Avengers Social Club donde interpretó a Lee Byung-soo, el esposo de Kim Jung-hye (Lee Yo-won) y el hijo mayor de Haerang Construction Co.[3]
En octubre de 2018 se unió al elenco recurrente de la serie The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, donde dio vida a Lee Kyung-cheol, un detective de la estación de la policía de Won Young.
El 23 de enero de 2019 se unió al elenco principal de la serie Spring Turns to Spring, donde interpretó a Park Yoon-chul, un miembro de la Asamblea Nacional y el esposo de Lee Bom (Uhm Ji-won), hasta el final de la serie en marzo del mismo año. En julio del mismo año se unió al elenco recurrente de la serie Love Affairs in the Afternoon, donde dio vida a Lee Young-jae, el infeliz esposo de Choi Soo-ah (Ye Ji-won), quien trabaja como director ejecutivo de una empresa editorial de éxito.[4]
En enero de 2020 se unió al elenco recurrente de la serie Money Game, donde interpretó a Na Joon-pyo, el director general de la oficina financiera internacional.[5] En julio del mismo año se unió al elenco recurrente de la serie Flower of Evil, donde dio vida a Do Min-seok, el padre de Do Hyun-soo (Lee Joon-gi) y Do Hae-soo (Jang Hee-jin).[6]
El 14 de agosto del mismo año se unió al elenco secundario de la serie antológica SF8 durante la historia SF8: The Prayer, donde interpretó al gerente del hospital de enfermería.[7]
