Systématique et taxinomie
Ce genre a été décrit par Simon en 1880 dans les Drassidae. Il est placé dans les Zoropsidae par Simon en 1906[2], dans les Miturgidae par Lehtinen en 1967[3], dans les Zorocratidae par Griswold, Coddington, Platnick et Forster en 1999[4] puis dans les Udubidae par Polotow, Carmichael et Griswold en 2015[5].
Marussenca[6] a été placé en synonymie par Simon en 1903[7].
Calamistrula[8] a été placé en synonymie par Polotow, Carmichael et Griswold en 2015[5].
