『パンチ』 (Punch) は、パンチブラザーズのデビューアルバム。Nonesuch Recordsから2008年2月26日にリリースされた。
このアルバムは、マンドリン弾きクリス・シーリによる4部構成の大作"The Blind Leaving the Blind."である。シーリ曰く、この曲は彼自身の離婚(2004年)を扱った曲である。Finale composition softwareを使って、一年半をかけて作曲された。アルバム構成の30%にはいくらか即興によるものを含む。「ジャズのリード・シートか細かく書きあげられたフィドルチューンのように」。シーリは、自分のゴールを「ジャズやクラシックのフォーマルな規律と、ブルーグラスやフォークの活気との融合」であると語っている。[9] このアルバムの覚え書きには、バンド全体からのコメントが書かれている。[10]
このアルバムでは、"How to Grow a Woman from the Ground"のように、ライブレコーディングを行い、マルチトラックの使用を最小限にしている。[11]
