Wahlkreis East Grinstead and Uckfield

East Grinstead and Uckfield ist ein Wahlkreis (englisch constituency) in der Grafschaft West Sussex im Südosten Englands, der einen Abgeordneten ins britische Unterhaus (House of Commons) entsendet. Er besteht seit 2024 und liegt in den Bezirken Mid Sussex, Wealden und Lewes. Bedeutende Orte im Wahlkreis sind Barcombe, Copthorne, East Grinstead, Uckfield und Wivelsfield.

Geschichte
Die Boundary Commission for England schuf den Wahlkreis im Hinblick auf die Unterhauswahl 2024. Er entstand aus Teilen des weiterhin bestehenden Wahlkreises Mid Sussex, Horsham und Lewes sowie des aufgelösten Wahlkreises Wealden.
Der Wahlkreis umfasst folgende Gebiete:
- seit 2024: im Mid Sussex District die Wards Ardingly, Balcombe & Turners Hill (größter Teil), Ashurst Wood & East Grinstead South, Copthorne & Worth, Crawley Down, East Grinstead Ashplats, East Grinstead Baldwins, East Grinstead Herontye, East Grinstead Imberhorne, East Grinstead Town, Handcross & Pease Pottage und Lindfield Rural & High Weald (größter Teil), im Wealden District die Wards Buxted, Danehill & Fletching, Forest Row, Maresfield, Uckfield East, Uckfield New Town, Uckfield North und Uckfield Ridgewood & Little Horsted sowie im Lewes District die Wards Chailey, Barcombe & Hamsey, Newick und Wivelsfield[2]
