    • The first episode of Doraemon is broadcast, based on the eponymous manga series.[11] This adaptation became rarely seen after the broadcast of the longer-running 1979 relaunch as mandated by Shogakukan to protect the reputation of the relaunch. However, later episodes were recovered by IMAGICA in the 1990s. A clip from one of the episodes was spotted in a pornographic Japanese movie.[12]
