The 2008 World University Wrestling Championships was the 8th edition of the World University Wrestling Championships and was held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 9 to 13 July 2008.[1] The competition took place at Alexandreio Melathron Nick Galis Hall and was organized by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.[2] A total of 228 wrestlers from 27 countries competed in 21 events.[3][4]
