The 1998 World University Wrestling Championships was the 3rd edition of the World University Wrestling Championships and was held in Ankara, Turkey, from 2 to 7 June 1998 at Ankara Atatürk Sport Hall.[1] A total of 142 wrestlers competed in 16 events.[1]
