Alpine A526

2026 Formula One car From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Alpine A526 is a Formula One car constructed by Alpine F1 Team to compete in the 2026 Formula One World Championship. It is the sixth Formula One car entered by Alpine since rebranding from Renault, and the first car constructed by Team Enstone since the Lotus E23 Hybrid (2015) to be powered with Mercedes power. It is currently being driven by Pierre Gasly, who is on his fourth season with the team, and Franco Colapinto, who begins his second season with the team after replacing former Alpine driver Jack Doohan for the rest of the season - a change first implemented at the 2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

Reveal

On 21 January 2026, the A526 underwent a shakedown at the Silverstone Circuit.[1] The A526's livery, which is similar to the previous year's, was first unveiled on 23 January 2026 on an MSC Cruises cruise ship off the coast of Barcelona, Spain.[2]
