Chah Tarakh-e Sofla (Persian: چاه ترخ سفلي)[a] is a village in Dastgerdan Rural District[3] of the Central District[b] in Eshqabad County, South Khorasan province, Iran.
Population
At the time of the 2006 and 2011 National Censuses, the village's population was below the reporting threshold, when it was in Dastgerdan District[c] of Tabas County, Yazd province.[5][6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 30 people in 12 households,[2] by which time the county had been separated from the province to join South Khorasan province.[7]
In 2024, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Eshqabad County and renamed the Central District.[4]
