Chicken Republic is a Nigerian fast-food chain and franchise that specializes in chicken recipes, especially fried chicken.[1] It was founded by Deji Akinyanju,[2] and the first restaurant was established in Apapa, Lagos in 2004.[3] The first Chicken Republic restaurant was opened in Lagos in 2004 and is presently trading in over 150 locations across Nigeria and Ghana.[4]
