Please let me know if others remain that are considered unreliable.- Comment: Wikipedia uses a minimum of FULL CAPS and boldface. When in doubt, use neither.Thus not "PRODUCTIONS, AWARDS, & PUBLICATIONS" but "Productions, awards, and publications". And not "U.S. REGIONAL" but "U.S. Regional". Et cetera."
- Comment: Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO, WP:NCREATIVE, WP:NPROF) but presently it is not clear that it does.As you may know, Wikipedia's basic requirement for entry is that the subject is notable. Early life and education
Dean was born in 1979 and raised in Chatsworth, GA[7]. He often writes from his own life;[8] most notably, in Rift, a two-hander inspired by Dean's relationship with his estranged, incarcerated white supremacist brother,[9] which chronicles the difficulties of familial reconciliation amidst opposing ideologies.[10] Dean also pulls from family history inTerminus which, through a Southern Gothic lens, contends with the American legacy of racial violence and segregation.[11] Dean has noted that he is primarily interested in narratives of reparation, how love and empathy play a part in theatre and, ultimately, social justice.[12]
Dean studied Creative Writing at Oglethorpe University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003. He then went on to receive a Master of Fine Arts degree focusing on Playwriting and Poetry from The University of Texas at Austin's Michener Center for Writers in 2012.
Career
Dean's work has been produced and developed widely at notable theatres such as New York Theatre Workshop,[13] Manhattan Theatre Club,[14] McCarter Theatre,[15] Cherry Lane Theatre, The Flea,[16] The Kennedy Center,[17] Traverse Theatre,[18] 59E59,[19] Geva Theatre Center,[20] PlayPenn, Interact Theatre,[21] among others.
From 2014-15, Dean was a Hodder Fellow at Princeton University,[22] and received the Dramatist's Guild Fellowship in 2013.[23] Dean is an alum of The Civilians R&D Group,[24] an Affiliated Writer at The Playwrights' Center[25], and is currently an Assistant Professor of English Literatures and Writing & Theatre at Muhlenberg College[26] where he teaches Playwriting, Screenwriting, and Dramaturgy.
