The article likely contains extensive sections of insufficiently reviewed LLM-generated text. In addition to many signs of LLM-generated text, there are WP:V failures all over the place with sources that don't support claims:
is youth-driven cultural movement that emerged in Morocco during the early 2000s
this was fixed by an IP user (thank you!), but when the article was created this statement was sourced to an album release profile
Centered primarily in urban hubs such as Casablanca and Rabat, the movement encompasses new forms of artistic and social expression, particularly rap and various rock and fusion musical currents, mainly in Moroccan Arabic.
sourced partially to , which is just an advertisement for a lecture on the topic. The other listed source supports some claims, but never mentions Rabat that I could see
Nayda is characterized by the occupation of public space through festivals and concerts, and represents a conscious effort to connect local heritage with modern, globally networked aesthetics.
sourced partially to , another profile of the same album release that barely mentions the Nayda movement, and when it does, does not support these claims. The other source, which I managed to read in entirety, is about the relationship of Moroccan rappers with the Moroccan government and local elites - it barely makes any mention of anything global or international. And oh boy conscious effort to connect local heritage with modern, globally networked aesthetics
is just absolute peak LLM mumbo-jumbo (in addition to totally unsupported by sources)
This is just the lead - every sentence in the original lead, in fact. I spot checked some of the body and found some similar issues. Documenting this here before I WP:DRAFTIFY this per the machine-generated text criteria of WP:DRAFTREASON NicheSports (talk) 08:44, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- I see that this was resubmitted without all issues being addressed. Also, this recent addition looks LLM-generated as well , example:
which highlighted the cultural and religious tensions surrounding emerging youth expression

- @Rap no Davinci I know I said I'd stop reviewing your edits but this page was still on my watchlist and I was surprised to see your recent edit. How did you create the following text?
evolving from an alternative culture originating in underground circles to a visible presence on the public stage
NicheSports (talk) 15:51, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @NicheSports, I actually was about to tag you here for feedback before submitting the draft, but because you expressed that you'd stop reviewing my edits, I figured you might not want to review this one either. (btw, I was never bothered by your reviews as I never felt they were personal attacks or done in bad faith).
- To answer your question, that text is more or less from 1/2 of the sources cited after the end of that paragraph, this source. You've seen the original version, this one is a major improvement and a lot different, that's a lot of work from my side, you're welcome to be skeptic, I am totally okay with that as long as that doesn't turn into accusations (as in the last AE).
- If you got any feedback, I am here to further improve the article, but it's definitely not LLM-generated. Rap no Davinci (talk) 16:13, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response and for pointing out the source. I'm trying to understand how you wrote the text highlighted above. Did you write it yourself? NicheSports (talk) 16:18, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- It's a translation from French to English, I forgot to disclose the use of Google Translate, I try to disclose like I did here. Rap no Davinci (talk) 16:28, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for disclosing that. That is WP:TRANSVIO which is a form of WP:COPYVIO. Please do not translate content from foreign language sources and add it to articles. NicheSports (talk) 16:32, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you, I didn't know that. There were few cases where I didn't change much not to fail V since that was part of the problem. I will keep this COPYVIO in mind, too. I will change that phrasing now. Rap no Davinci (talk) 16:36, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- @NicheSports What changes still need to be made in the article that will satisfy you that it is not LLM-generated, so that you can remove the tag? thanks in advance Rap no Davinci (talk) 16:47, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- I mean several sections of the original draft are still intact, and I have the highest level of confidence that the original draft was primarily LLM-generated by a mid-2025 chatbot. It contains bangers like
The movement's legacy includes influencing subsequent cultural developments in Morocco and providing a model for blending traditional elements with contemporary global styles.
sourced only to which doesn't even mention the Nayda movement. Given how unreliable mid-2025 LLM-generated output was, all remaining parts of the original draft probably need to be rewritten. As for the recently added Special:Diff/1344245802, I am having a hard time. It is written in perfectly grammatical English in the style of a chatbot and is notably different in style from that of your talk page comments. I found one case of WP:TRANSVIO. So it looks like there was some machine assistance - it would help me make a recommendation if you could share more information about your editing process. At a minimum, the {{ai-generated}} tag should stay until the original draft elements are rewritten. NicheSports (talk) 22:16, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- I believe all sections have been edited and appropriately addressed, if you're still confident about the presence of any AI Signs or issues with V, please list them here and I will work on them.
- Of course talk page comments differ from article writing!! Commenting on here is mostly brainstorming, totally different from main page articles where we need to keep several things in mind as we write like V, NPOV, grammar, encyclopedic tone and language level, etc. (+ learning new policies and more). TP doesn't need that much brainpower nor time.
- Anyways, let's stay focused on improving this article, we've had enough back-and-forth about how I edit. Rap no Davinci (talk) 13:59, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
