Should this cover the full "The Last Act" movie?

While episode 9 is the main attraction of The Last Act, the third-party sources in the draft cover the film as a whole, which includes episode 8. I propose having a plot summary of both episodes akin to Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, and to switch the leading infobox to Template:Infobox film. I would argue that this is a consequence of the fact that episode 9 hasn't yet been released online, and that we're likely to get sources focusing just on the finale episode itself once it does. Having The Last Act be the main topic of the article, rather than episode nine, would make it more difficult to straightforwardly incorporate any sources/info focusing just on episode 9 (particularly any sources/info that would cover critical reception or episode production).

Additionally, I'd say that the example of Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story differs somewhat from The Last Act, in that The Untold Story was a film that was subsequently cut up into episodes for television, whereas The Last Act comes from two distinctly separate episodes (including one that already previously aired) being packaged together as a feature release.

Inclusion of Live Action Cast

Should we include the live action cast in the infobox? They have such minor screentime and such minor roles that I think they should be in a dedicated cast section on the page rather than the infobox. As is right now, the infobox drags down all the way to the end of the plot section, which seems like too much real estate on the page imo. What do others think? Article title

The article talks about the threatrical release more than anything. I believe the article should be titled The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act. Skyshiftertalk 13:26, 19 June 2026 (UTC)

To reiterate a point that's been raised (including by myself) in prior discussions here & on the series talk page: the balance with sourcing & coverage has so far been due more to the fact that the theatrical release preceded the online release than anything else, & we are likely to get more sources/coverage that focus on just on the finale episode itself once the online release finally happens later today. Following from that, having the main topic of the article be centered on the theatrical release rather than the actual episode would make it structurally more difficult to incorporate any material/sources focusing just on "Remember" (particularly any sources that may cover writing, production, or critical reception specific to the episode). The finale episode is the wider topic, which the theatrical release is a major aspect of, rather than vice versa. — Jamie Eilat (talk) 14:33, 19 June 2026 (UTC)

Well, that is why it is a draft. It is not finished. It is not in mainspace and is still actively being worked on. Saying we should change the title because the article doesn’t have content on its subject fails to matter here because the article is a draft. The plan is to make it centered on the episode. Inclusion of Jax's transgender identity in the body

Hello. Initially, I was going to add "and Ribbit's awareness of aspects of his transgender identity,^[1]^[a]" to the plot section. However, aside from some exceptions, plots on Wikipedia should not have citations, as pointed out by a fellow editor.

I was wondering, given the importance of this element to the story and its subsequent confirmation through Bluesky posts by Gooseworx and the voice actors, whether there is a way to incorporate it into the article. Alternatively, because this information was revealed or clarified outside the film itself, would it be appropriate to cite those posts in this specific instance within the "plot" section anyways, making an exception due to the odd circumstances of such reveal? The discourse surrounding this has been contentious, given that the text itself, at best, vaguely alludes to the concept of Jax's gender identity rather than outright stating it or discussing it. It can be a bit of intrigue on subtext and the creator's intent, but given that it is subtext, it seems hardly logical to overplay its explicit importance on the story or its themes. Given that, it'd make more sense to me to include allusions to Jax's gender identity as a footnote, rather than an objective statement in the plot summary. NexusHUB (talk) 05:32, 22 June 2026 (UTC)

The way I understand it is that Gooseworx's social media posts confirm that Jax is transfeminine. In addition to the art of a post-transition Jax (described as her "if she wasn't a huge piece of shit"), Goose also mentioned Leeroy's wardrobe being designed to indicate that she's "boymoding" (i.e. mid-transition but still publicly presenting as male to avoid discrimination) and clarified in a reply to Alex Rochon (Caine's VA) that both "he/him" and "she/her" pronouns are acceptable ways to refer to Jax.

Given this, my view is that it should absolutely be made the subject of a footnote with accompanying citations. The only impediment at the moment is that this information is only documented to this extent in primary sources, which Wikipedia generally refrains from relying on. Oppose: We have now begun getting critical review sources that are specifically focussed on "Remember" rather than The Last Act. (You can see some of them on this talk page as ref ideas; I plan on incorporating them into the critical reception section, assuming no one beats me to the punch.) Thus, although the Release section & Box office subsection will definitely continue to have a focus on The Last Act, Critical Reception will be quickly gaining focus on "Remember", & that's obviously on top of the Plot section already being fully oriented around "Remember". This feels more like forcing the article to be about "Remember" rather than what sources are actually saying. Even if you have 3 sources about Remember, it is clear as day that most sources are about The Last Act. It doesn't make sense to have a Release/Box office section detailed like this otherwise. And in fact, even the Bubbleblabber source mentions The Last Act in its title and talks about the theatrical release. The Plot section thing is irrelevant, as that's simply a subjective editorial decision and not anything about what sources are actually about, which is The Last Act. Oppose: Oppose renaming the episode to "The Last Act". Per official production credits and series formatting, the canonical title for Episode 9 on its own is "Remember". Under WP:NAMINGCRITERIA. However, "The Last Act" is the official title of the feature-length theatrical compilation that combined Episode 8 and Episode 9 together for the June cinema release. To keep the article accurate and clear for readers, we should keep the episode's title as "Remember" but explicitly mention in the lead sentence or infobox that it was released theatrically as part of The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act. If the move gets approved, the best solution would be to reformulate/restructure the article so that it is all about The Last Act as a whole instead of just the single episode. I fear this muddies the waters and only makes for an archival nightmare later on. I think it helps to remember (ha) that The Last Act is not an episode, it was an event. It was a theatrical screening of both hjsakldfhl and Remember.

I'm still on the fence about this, but i want to clarify more why that is the case.

While it's true most sources are indeed about the Last Act, it might not be the case for long. As the full episode has been finally released, there isn't much resaon to cover that than the episode Remember in the long run.
