Should this cover the full "The Last Act" movie?
While episode 9 is the main attraction of The Last Act, the third-party sources in the draft cover the film as a whole, which includes episode 8. I propose having a plot summary of both episodes akin to Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, and to switch the leading infobox to Template:Infobox film. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 20:15, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- I would argue that this is a consequence of the fact that episode 9 hasn't yet been released online, and that we're likely to get sources focusing just on the finale episode itself once it does. Having The Last Act be the main topic of the article, rather than episode nine, would make it more difficult to straightforwardly incorporate any sources/info focusing just on episode 9 (particularly any sources/info that would cover critical reception or episode production).
- Additionally, I'd say that the example of Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story differs somewhat from The Last Act, in that The Untold Story was a film that was subsequently cut up into episodes for television, whereas The Last Act comes from two distinctly separate episodes (including one that already previously aired) being packaged together as a feature release.
- I would also direct you to some of the discussion on the series talk page that have touched on this matter, found at Talk:The Amazing Digital Circus/Archive 2#Split? & Talk:The Amazing Digital Circus#Leak. — Jamie Eilat (talk) 21:07, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
Is the article ready to be moved?
The article has a plot summary, critics reviews, distribution history and box office results which have been disclosed thus far. Would you say its time to move to (Article), and if yes, under which title? VitoxxMass (talk) 02:41, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
- The draft is currently under review for approval on whether it should be moved to mainspace or not. Please wait for that review to be completed. IzzySwag (talk) 02:42, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yes and hopefully it happens soon since the episode is out now! Usr Trj (talk) 07:23, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
- Can we do anything to speed up the project? The article is more then ready. Only thing maybe is to further simplify the plot VitoxxMass (talk) 17:38, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
Inclusion of Live Action Cast
Should we include the live action cast in the infobox? They have such minor screentime and such minor roles that I think they should be in a dedicated cast section on the page rather than the infobox. As is right now, the infobox drags down all the way to the end of the plot section, which seems like too much real estate on the page imo. What do others think? Article title
The article talks about the threatrical release more than anything. I believe the article should be titled The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act. Skyshiftertalk 13:26, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- To reiterate a point that's been raised (including by myself) in prior discussions here & on the series talk page: the balance with sourcing & coverage has so far been due more to the fact that the theatrical release preceded the online release than anything else, & we are likely to get more sources/coverage that focus on just on the finale episode itself once the online release finally happens later today. Following from that, having the main topic of the article be centered on the theatrical release rather than the actual episode would make it structurally more difficult to incorporate any material/sources focusing just on "Remember" (particularly any sources that may cover writing, production, or critical reception specific to the episode). The finale episode is the wider topic, which the theatrical release is a major aspect of, rather than vice versa. — Jamie Eilat (talk) 14:33, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- Don't have much to add but just want to say that I'm with Jamie, it makes more sense to focus the episode rather than its release. IzzySwag (talk) 14:57, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- Sure, but as of right now all coverage is for the threatrical release. It is a bit WP:CRYSTAL to presume that reviews only dedicated to "Remember" will follow. Skyshiftertalk 16:14, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- Well, that is why it is a draft. It is not finished. It is not in mainspace and is still actively being worked on. Saying we should change the title because the article doesn’t have content on its subject fails to matter here because the article is a draft. The plan is to make it centered on the episode. - It has been submitted for review. Skyshiftertalk 16:55, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yes and I disagree with that submission. I would unsubmit if I could, I think this article still needs improvement before going to mainspace. IzzySwag (talk) 16:59, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- What exactly needs improvement? Signed, SleepyRedHair. (talk - contribs) 17:13, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- I think it needs more in the reception but mostly in the production. There is literally nothing on the production of the episode, which should be a top priority for an episode article, imo. IzzySwag (talk) 19:46, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's fair. I wouldn't call production a priority, but it is still important and I agree that it should be covered, that is if reliable coverage exists. Signed, SleepyRedHair. (talk - contribs) 11:08, 20 June 2026 (UTC)
