History
Eneba was established in 2018 as Helis Play[5][6] by Vytis Uogintas and Zygimantas Mikšta in Kaunas, Lithuania.[7][8][9] Uogintas and Mikšta had been business partners since 2012, having previously co-founded the digital-marketing company SeoHelis and the advertising agency Kokosas.[10][11]
In 2016, they created the software company Helis LT, which was later sold to Tesonet.[12][13] In October 2019, Eneba closed a €2.5 million seed investment.[14][15][16] In December 2020, Eneba raised $8 million in a round led by Practica Capital and InReach Ventures, with FJ Labs and angel investors, including Vinted chief operating officer Mantas Mikuckas.[17][18] According to TechCrunch it had about 26 million unique users at the time.[19][20] In April 2022, Eneba announced a payments partnership with Nuvei.[21] In June 2024, Eneba partnered with dLocal to add local payment methods in several Latin American markets.[21][22][23]
In September 2024, Eneba signed distribution agreements with Riot Games and Garena.[24][25] In November 2025, the Lithuanian national development institution ILTE issued a €10 million loan to Eneba to develop an artificial intelligence recommendation system for a mobile games platform.[26][27][28]
