Gazik District (Persian: بخش گزیک) is in Darmian County, South Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Gazik.[3]
The village of Tabas-e Masina was converted to a city in 2008,[5] and likewise the village of Gazik in 2010.[6]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 15,089 in 3,381 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 15,772 people in 3,920 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 15,869 inhabitants in 3,937 households.[4]
