Gol Shaneh (Persian: گل شانه)[a] is a village in Deh-e Mohammad Rural District[3] of the Central District[b] in Eshqabad County, South Khorasan province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 55 in 26 households, when it was in Dastgerdan Rural District of Dastgardan District[c] in Tabas County, Yazd province.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 100 people in 39 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 122 people in 45 households,[2] by which time the county had been separated from the province to join South Khorasan province.[6]

In 2024, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Eshqabad County and renamed the Central District. Gol Shaneh was transferred to Deh-e Mohammad Rural District created in the same district.[3]
