Hizan (Persian: هيزان)[a] is a village in Angut-e Gharbi Rural District[5] of the Central District[b] in Ungut County, Ardabil province, Iran.
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 314 in 57 households, when it was in Ungut District[c] of Germi County.[7][d] The following census in 2011 counted 294 people in 70 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 300 people in 92 households.[3]
In 2019, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Ungut County and renamed the Central District.[6]
