Kale (Kurdish: Îzolî/Qela)[2] is a municipality and district of Malatya Province, Turkey.[3] Its area is 237 km2,[4] and its population is 5,571 (2022).[1] The mayor is Murat Koca (AKP).
The town of Gubbōs (also Gūbōs), which flourished in the Middle Ages and was also the seat of a Syriac Orthodox diocese, is likely to have been located in the municipality.[5]
