La Villette (French pronunciation: [la vilɛt] ) is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France.

The commune is part of the area known as Suisse Normande.[3]

The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, La Fresnée, Claude Fougère, La Villette, Les Forges, Les Poiriers and La Porte.[4]

The Commune along with another nine communes shares part of a 5,729 hectare, Natura 2000 conservation area, called the Bassin de la Druance.[5]

Two streams flow through the communes borders La Porte and The Val Fournet.[6][7]
