Laize-Clinchamps (French pronunciation: [lɛz klɛ̃ʃɑ̃]) is a commune in the department of Calvados, northwestern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2017 by merger of the former communes of Laize-la-Ville (the seat) and Clinchamps-sur-Orne.[3]
The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Percouville, Laize-la-Ville, Clinchamps-sur-Orne and Les Jardins.[4]
Two rivers the Orne and one of its tributaries the Laize a flow through the commune.[5][6] in addition a stream, the Ruisseau du Val Distrait flows through the commune.[7]
