List of tallest buildings in Mongolia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Industrialization in Mongolia commenced during the 1930s while the nation was known as the Mongolian People's Republic, with large scale building construction expanding throughout the 1960s and 1970s to form the core of Ulaanbaatar. By the conclusion of the communist era, the tallest building in Mongolia was a 16-story apartment complex in Darkhan completed in 1985.[1][2]
Following the Mongolian Revolution of 1990, the construction of structures between 9 and 12 floors increased significantly, while buildings exceeding 16 floors began appearing after 2010. Mongolian building code legislation defines high rise structures as those reaching a minimum height of 16 floors.[3]
The Kherlen Bars Khot in Dornod Province represents the tallest pre-modern structure in Mongolia.
This list ranks buildings in Mongolia that stand at least 300 ft (91 m) tall, based on standard height measurement. This includes spires and architectural details but excludes antenna masts. The "Year" column indicates the year of completion. An equal sign (=) following a rank indicates the same height between two or more buildings. Estimated heights are shown in italics.
