The Little Sandy National Wildlife Refuge is National Wildlife Refuge of 3,802 acres[1] in Wood County, Texas.[2] Unlike most National Wildlife Refuges maintained by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the public is not allowed access to the refuge.[3] The land is privately owned, but protected by a conservation easement.[3]

The refuge is located approximately 12.6 miles from the intersection of US Highways 80 and 69. It is bounded by the Sabine River on the south, US Highway 80 to north, and by private property on the east and west.[2]
