Maria Cervania is an American epidemiologist and politician serving as a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing the 41st district in western Wake County since 2023.[1][2] Cervania previously served on the Wake County Board of Commissioners from 2020 to 2022, making her the first person of AAPI descent to be elected to the Board.[3][4] She's a member of the Progressive House Caucus.[5]
