Meydan Jiq (Persian: ميدانجيق)[a] is a village in Gavdul-e Markazi Rural District[4] of the Central District in Malekan County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,993 in 482 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,110 people in 635 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,087 people in 646 households.[2]
