The Moroccan National Tourist Office (Arabic: المكتب الوطني المغربي للسياحة; French: Office national marocain du tourisme; ONMT) is a public establishment of Morocco responsible for promoting the country as a tourist destination at both the national and international levels. Established in 1918, the organization is headquarted in Rabat.
The ONMT is one of the main institutional actors in the Moroccan tourism sector.[1] It operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy.
Campaigns
Domestic tourism
In 2024, the ONMT launched the campaign “Ntla9awfbladna” to promote domestic tourism.[4]
International tourism
In 2022, the ONMT launched the international campaign “Kingdom of Light”. The campaign highlights Morocco’s tourism assets and was deployed across several countries.[5]
In 2025, the ONMT introduced the campaign “Kingdom of Football”, aimed at promoting Morocco as a major football destination in the context of its growing international visibility and upcoming sporting events. The campaign focuses on the country’s football culture, infrastructure, and its role as a host of major international competitions.[6]
