Peripeltopleurus is an extinct genus of prehistoric ray-finned fish that lived during the Anisian to Sinemurian ages of the Middle Triassic-Early Jurassic epoch.[1][2] Represents the only known Jurassic survivor of the order Peltopleuriformes.[2]
