Shahabad (Persian: شاه اباد), also romanized as Shāhābād[1] is a village in Qahab-e Jonubi Rural District, in the Central District of Isfahan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 20, in 4 families.[2]

Tahmasp I, the second shah of Safavid Iran, was born here in 1514.
