Subedi

Subedi (Nepali: सुवेदी [subedi]) is one of the surnames of Brahmin Varna in Nepal.^{[citation needed]} In ancient days, people who could recite Veda easily (सु-वेद = सुवेदी ) were called by the surname Subedi. They belong to lineage of Bharadwaj.^[1] They are also found in kingdom of Bhutan and Myanmar.^{[citation needed]}
