Motive
May we please put as a motive "disgruntled", since i have heard on news reports that tha perpetrator was a "disgruntled employee"? Monkeylady999 (talk) 23:51, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
- Sounds like a media opinion rather than a motive. WWGB (talk) 00:14, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
- This is already linked on your talk page, but please read up on what a reliable source is. Once you understand that, go find one that confirms his motive, come back here and discuss. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:42, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
What is a "media opinion"? Monkeylady999 (talk) 01:20, 10 December 2022 (UTC)

Aurora, Illinois shooting → 2019 Aurora, Illinois shooting – Alt: 2019 Aurora, Illinois, shooting per MOS:GEOCOMMA. Event appears to fail WP:NOYEAR requirements. A lack of other notable shootings in Aurora, Illinois does not imply that a year is not necessary, factors such as how identifiable the incident does, and this incident does not appear to reach that level of notoriety. - Comment - This has been discussed before: Talk:Aurora, Illinois shooting/Archive 1#Requested move 16 February 2019. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 14:34, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Not especially well known, fails NOYEAR. PARAKANYAA (talk) 05:14, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
- Support per nom. I would suggest to use "2019 Aurora, Illinois, shooting" for the article title. Cfls (talk) 17:27, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
- Titles like that often fail when they're brought up in move discussions because the perceived awkwardness of the title. I prefer 2019 Aurora, Illinois, shooting because it's supported by MOS, and would like that taken into account when this move is closed if one of the new titles is approved of through consensus.
