I propose merging or even redirecting 2024 Men's T20 World Cup group stage, 2024 Men's T20 World Cup Super 8 stage, and 2024 Men's T20 World Cup knockout stage into 2024 Men's T20 World Cup. I don't think the average reader would actually search for the other articles but try to find it in the article. I have worked up a draft at User:Vestrian24Bio/2024 Men's T20 World Cup on how the post-merge article would look... What do you think think, would it still qualify as GA.? - Support all merges per @AirshipJungleman29's reasoning. I also don't believe that the main article fits the criteria for a WP:SPLIT. This policy lays out three occasions on which an article should be split: WP:SIZE, post-template expansion size, and WP:CONSPLIT. This article doesn't fit the second reason, nor does it fit the third reason - leaving just WP:SIZE as a valid reason for a split. The article's total word count is roughly 7,500 (without the infobox and table of contents), which falls short of the classification "may need to be trimmed or divided". Furthermore, considering the readable prose size (WP:RPS), word count falls to around 6,200. Clearly, a split is not justified. --WellThisIsTheReaper Grim 23:58, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
