How many wikilinks to "Brain rot" shall we have in the article? Including the Template:2020s slang (also know as Template:Generation Z slang), we currently have four links to this article. Too many, i think. --Himbeerbläuling (talk) 21:31, 15 March 2026 (UTC)

one is enough. TheFlamer2024 (talk) 19:32, 4 April 2026 (UTC)

Requested move 18 April 2026

– The current title "6-7 meme" is unnecessarily restrictive and informal. The subject is commonly referred to simply as "6-7" across reliable sources, and not all coverage frames it explicitly as a meme. Renaming the article to "6-7" would improve neutrality, accuracy, and consistency with Wikipedia's naming conventions by using the most concise and commonly recognized name. ~2026-23894-12 (talk) 10:01, 18 April 2026 (UTC)

Oppose 6-7 is ambiguous by itself and appears in many unrelated contexts. WP:NCDAB states that we should opt for natural disambiguators like "meme" in this case. Please provide sources for the claim "not all coverage frames it explicitly as a meme". Also, please note that per WP:LLMCOMM Editors should not use LLMs to write comments. • Support per same arguments made at Talk:6-7 meme/Archive 1#Requested move 6 December 2025. There are no other topics titled "6-7" at the disambiguation page 67, so it's an obvious primary topic, and the meme is most commonly known simply without meme on the end. Indeed, as the OP mentions, not all sources even call it a meme. Previous opposers cited WP:RECENTISM, but it's not clear what relevance that has, given no other topics (recent or otherwise) that might compete with it. It should have been moved in December and it should still be moved now.   Amakuru (talk) 14:03, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
  • Support per Amakuru. JeffSpaceman (talk) 22:49, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
Support 6-7, with the inclusion of the dash, is naturally unambiguous within the general public (at least in the United States). It's so distinct that the youngest toddler and the oldest elder know what 6-7 is and "means". Additionally, there are no other "6-7" terms that could be confused with the meme. Support per nomination and it is more well known as that. Wilson Palacpac III (talk) 03:21, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
  • Support per nomination. The previous discussion to change to this title led to the current title, but I am of the opinion that it should have gone with what was proposed. I also understand that if this RM succeeds, a hatnote will be needed. How about this, since meme will no longer be in the title:
This article is about the meme. For other uses, see 6-7 (disambiguation).
